Dual-threat carries Black ops past Midnight Madness
Josie carried Black ops to a 10-4 victory over Midnight Madness on Saturday with a strong game at the plate and in the circle.
Josie racked up three RBIs on two hits for Black ops. She singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.
Josie baffled Midnight Madness, striking out four batters. Josie allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk over five innings.
Black ops blew out Midnight Madness thanks to six hits, including three extra base hits. Black ops scored five runs in the third on an RBI single by Jasmyn, an error, an RBI single by Josie, an RBI single by Kasey, and an error.
Black ops stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the first, scoring three runs on a two-run double by Kasey.
