Black ops and Destroyers exchanged the lead five times on Thursday, but Black ops ended up on top with an 8-3 win in four innings over Destroyers.

Black ops finally managed to grab the lead after a strong second inning. An error scored Katie and gave Black ops the lead for good.

Abby got a hit in each of her three at bats. She singled in the first, second, and fourth innings.

Josie shut down Destroyers while she was in the circle. Destroyers managed just one hit off of Josie, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during her three innings of work.

Black ops jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. Abby singled to ignite Black ops' offense. A stolen base then moved Abby from first to second. Kasey singled, scoring Abby. Black ops then tacked on more runs when Josie scored on a wild pitch.

Destroyers answered Black ops' top inning with three runs of its own in the first. Destroyers scored on a walk by Amaya, a groundout by Serenity, and an RBI single by Emma.

Black ops went up for good in the second scoring four total runs, which came home on an RBI single by Abby.

Black ops scored one run in the third inning, and then followed it up with one more in the fourth. In the third, Black ops scored on a fielder's choice, plating Nora.
