Abby went 1-2, but Black ops still fell to Maroon Madness 8-6 in six innings on Saturday.

Two of Black ops' runs were scored thanks to timely hitting by Abby. She singled in the sixth inning.

Maroon Madness was sparked by Corissa and Eryn, who teamed up for three hits and three RBIs.

The lead stayed with Maroon Madness after the first, when it scored one run on.

Maroon Madness increased its lead with five runs in the third. A clutch wild pitch scored Lucy to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by Eryn's double, scoring Corissa and Kaitlyn.

Maroon Madness brought home one run in the fourth inning, and matched that run total in the fifth. In the fourth, Maroon Madness scored on an error.

After pushing across six runs in the bottom of the sixth, Black ops faced just a 8-3 deficit. A two-run single by Abby and a groundout by Sam triggered Black ops' comeback.
