Early lead gives Black Ops easy victory over Maroon Madness
Black ops jumped out to an early lead on Maroon Madness and captured a 9-2 victory on Wednesday.
The game was decided quickly as Black ops exerted its will early with seven runs in the first three innings.
A single by Kasey and a three-run double by Cailyn in the first inning supplied the early offense for Black ops.
Cailyn racked up four RBIs on two hits for Black ops.
Black ops tacked on another three runs in the third. A ground out scored Josie to get Black ops on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Elena's double, scoring Nora.
Black ops increased its lead with two runs in the fifth. A wild pitch scored Josie to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by Kasey's double, plating Abby.
